Job Description

Document Management: The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documents in both electronic and hardcopy formats. This includes ensuring proper filing systems are implemented and documents are accessible to authorized personnel at all times.

Record Keeping: You will oversee the registration, tracking, and retrieval of project drawings, correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with project standards are critical to ensuring all records are up to date.

Compliance and Standards: The role requires enforcing documentation protocols in line with company and client requirements. You will verify that all documents comply with ISO standards, project specifications, and internal quality procedures before submission.

Coordination with Teams: The Document Controller will work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication. Your role is to ensure that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Version Control: A vital part of this role is maintaining version control of documents, ensuring that the latest revisions are issued and obsolete versions are archived. You will monitor updates to avoid confusion during project execution.

Reporting and Tracking: You will generate document status reports, monitor deadlines for submissions, and provide timely updates to project leaders. Proper tracking will help maintain project efficiency and compliance with contractual obligations.
