Job Role:

Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA) is currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions, and managing a team of designers to achieve project objectives effectively.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design team in developing innovative and practical design solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.

Manage the design process from concept development through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate design with construction processes seamlessly.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications to maintain accuracy and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor design implementation and address any design-related issues during construction.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the design process and maintain a competitive edge.

Salary:

AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in a similar role within the fit-out or construction industry, with a strong portfolio of successful design projects.

Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other related applications.

Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a creative design team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring resolution of complex design challenges and maintaining design integrity.

In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE.

Proactive and results-oriented approach, focused on delivering high-quality design solutions within project constraints.
