We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our team in the precast industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, a DM Engineers license, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in precast design. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and detailing precast concrete elements for various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for precast concrete elements, including beams, columns, slabs, walls, and panels.

Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and precise drawings.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the design process.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.

Perform structural analysis and calculations to validate design concepts and ensure structural integrity.

Incorporate value engineering principles to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirements.

Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing and installation phases.

Participate in design review meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design-related issues and challenges.

Maintain accurate records of design documents, revisions, and project correspondence.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

DM Engineers license (Dubai Municipality Engineers license) is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in precast design.

Strong proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.

Thorough understanding of precast construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
