Job Overview:

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong data modeling concepts to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data models to meet both current and future data requirements, with a focus on delivering successful data management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling:

Design and implement effective and scalable data models that accommodate current and future data requirements.

Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring they align with the business needs and technical requirements.

Reference Data Models:

Work with various reference data models such as Dimensional, ER (Entity-Relationship), NF (Normal Forms), and DataVault.

Apply best practices in data modeling and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Data Management:

Manage data-related artifacts, including data mapping sheets and model documentation.

Provide hands-on support in data implementation and consultancy services for various projects.

BI and Data Tools:

Utilize data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner to design and manage data structures.

Leverage BI (Business Intelligence) tools to support data analysis and reporting requirements.

Architecture and Cloud Technologies:

Engage with cloud data technologies and integrate them into the data models when required.

Possess a broad understanding of data architecture, with an architecture certification considered an advantage.

Industry Experience:

Experience in the public/private investment equity domain is highly desirable.

Implement data management solutions across multiple large-scale projects as a data architect or in similar roles.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 15+ years of experience in the data management domain.

Proven experience in data modeling and data architecture, with successful implementation in at least 5-10+ mega projects.

Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner.

Experience with Oracle database systems is essential.

Skills:

Strong conceptual understanding of data modeling, including different data modeling techniques (Dimensional, ER, NF, DataVault).

Experience in producing comprehensive data artifacts such as conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Exposure to cloud data technologies and their implementation.

Proficiency in BI tools and data analysis.

Certifications:

An architecture certification is considered a plus.
