Job Description / Role

As a Data Management professional at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing client data. You will work closely with clients to address their data management needs, implement data quality strategies, and establish robust data governance frameworks. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of data management tools, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their data management requirements and challenges, ensuring that solutions meet their needs effectively.

Data Quality Strategies: Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for maintaining high data quality across various systems.

Data Profiling & Cleansing: Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities to improve data accuracy and completeness.

Data Governance: Design and implement data governance frameworks, including data stewardship and ownership models, to ensure proper data management practices.

KPI Definition: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality and governance to measure and enhance data management performance.

Training & Guidance: Provide guidance and training to client teams on data management best practices, helping them to utilize data effectively.

Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in data management and quality to ensure the use of current best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management, data quality, or related roles.

Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.

Experience with data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Certification in data management or quality (e.g., CDMP, DQ-Advantage) is a plus.
