Duties & Responsibilities:

Dicetek LLC is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in cloud tools, particularly with the Databricks platform on Azure or AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELTs, and automated jobs to ensure data flows properly through our platform. This role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to manage complex data processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines using Databricks on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Design, build, and manage ETL/ELT processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration.

Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reliability of data processes.

Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and troubleshoot any issues.

Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms.

Adhere to industry standards and best practices in data engineering, including compliance with banking regulations.

Document data processes and workflows for future reference and maintenance.

Candidate Profile:

Preferred Candidate:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent.

Proven experience in developing and deploying data pipelines in cloud platforms, specifically using Databricks tools.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, Scala, SQL, and others.

Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
