Job Overview: PACT Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Data Consultant for a leading client’s Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Portfolio Management team in Dubai. This position is a 6-month contract role offering exposure to strategic data projects within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data analysis, governance, and reporting functions to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and usability across critical systems.

Core Responsibilities: The Data Consultant will play a vital role in analyzing large datasets, developing actionable insights, and ensuring end-to-end data integrity. This includes working with SQL and SAS tools to extract, clean, and validate complex data. You will also be responsible for implementing user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that proposed solutions meet business needs while maintaining compliance with internal standards.

Technical Expertise: A strong foundation in data modeling, lineage tracking, quality control, engineering practices, and access management is expected. The role requires someone with hands-on experience in managing structured and unstructured datasets, creating efficient pipelines, and ensuring that data governance practices are adhered to consistently.

Banking Knowledge: The ideal candidate must bring prior experience in the banking and financial services industry, specifically with Wholesale and Business Banking products. This includes knowledge of operational processes such as account opening, account maintenance, and banking compliance requirements. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks will be an added advantage.

Collaboration: This role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business managers. The Data Consultant will be expected to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and provide insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
