Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Architect based in Abu Dhabi, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect critical infrastructure, applications, and data.

Client:

A very successful organization setting up their offices in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain secure architectures for cloud (especially Azure), applications, databases, and networks.

Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.

Integrate security best practices into DevOps processes, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Pulumi for secure infrastructure provisioning.

Secure distributed systems and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).

Develop, implement, and manage security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or a related role, including experience with risk management and security audits (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS etc.).

Proven skills in threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

Expertise in cloud security, with a strong emphasis on Azure, and DevSecOps practices (IaC, CI/CD).

Strong understanding of securing distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) principles.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
