Role Overview: We are currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Customs Operations Executive for our client, a top-tier freight forwarding company based in Al Garhoud, Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals who specialize in customs clearance and documentation for air, sea, and land freight.

Key Responsibilities: The role involves complete oversight of customs clearance operations, including processing documentation through E-Mirsal coordinating with Dubai Customs, JAFZA, FTA, and other government entities. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, timely submission of Bills of Entry (BOE), and liaising with clients and internal teams to meet tight deadlines.

Documentation & Compliance: Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing and submitting documents for import/export shipments, tracking shipments through various stages, and handling MOFAIC procedures. You will ensure that all entries are properly classified and customs duties, taxes, and exemptions are accurately calculated in line with UAE regulations.

Coordination & Communication: A strong focus of the role lies in interdepartmental coordination with warehouse, transportation, and sales teams to ensure a smooth customs clearance process. Excellent communication skills are essential to maintain client satisfaction and to provide real-time updates on shipment statuses and delays, if any.

Experience & Industry Knowledge: The ideal candidate must have 2–3 years of UAE-based experience in customs operations within a freight forwarding company. Familiarity with air, sea, and land freight procedures, knowledge of free zones, and practical experience with systems like E-Mirsal 2 is mandatory. Exposure to both import and export documentation will be an advantage.

The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently is also essential for success in this position.
