Job Description

Role Overview – S.L.P Shahad Shehab Clinic is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait. This position is ideal for customer-focused professionals with strong communication skills, healthcare sector knowledge, and the ability to manage patient inquiries, coordinate appointments, handle clinic administration, and deliver exceptional patient support within a specialized medical clinic environment.

Patient Reception and Front Desk Management – You will manage patient reception and front desk operations by welcoming patients and visitors warmly and professionally, greeting arrivals to the clinic, providing reception services, managing waiting areas, creating positive first impressions, answering switchboard calls, directing visitors appropriately, and ensuring professional, welcoming front desk service.

Appointment Scheduling and Coordination – You will schedule and coordinate appointments by managing patient appointment bookings via phone, email, and walk-ins, scheduling therapy sessions and consultations, coordinating appointment times with therapists and specialists, confirming appointment details with patients, sending appointment reminders, managing appointment calendars, and ensuring efficient scheduling operations.

Patient Inquiry Management and Support – You will manage patient inquiries and provide support by responding to questions about clinic services, therapy programs, treatment options, and specialties, providing information about speech-language pathology services, explaining consultation processes and treatment approaches, addressing patient and family concerns professionally, and ensuring patients receive accurate, helpful information.

Patient Registration and Data Management – You will manage patient registration and data by collecting patient information during initial visits, processing new patient registrations, entering patient details into clinic management systems accurately, updating patient records and contact information, maintaining patient databases, verifying patient identity and insurance information, and ensuring accurate, organized patient data management.

Insurance Verification and Coordination – You will coordinate insurance verification and processing by collecting patient insurance information, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility for speech therapy and medical services, coordinating with insurance providers on approvals and authorizations, explaining insurance coverage to patients, processing insurance-related inquiries, and supporting patients with insurance matters.

Payment and Billing Support – You will support payment and billing by processing patient payments for consultations and therapy sessions, collecting fees and co-payments, issuing receipts and invoices, coordinating with billing department on payment questions, explaining payment options and packages, managing payment records, and ensuring clear communication about financial aspects.

Medical Records and Documentation Management – You will manage medical records and documentation by maintaining patient files and records, organizing medical documentation, coordinating patient chart preparation for appointments, managing confidential patient information securely, ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations, and maintaining organized, accessible medical records.

Communication and Patient Education – You will manage communication and provide patient education by explaining clinic policies and procedures, providing pre-appointment instructions, communicating treatment schedules, offering information about therapy programs, answering procedural questions, coordinating patient communications, and ensuring patients and families are well-informed.
