Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between our company and customers, managing relationships and ensuring smooth order processing and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain and strengthen existing business relationships

Build strong rapport with customers

Collaborate with Sales Manager to understand and fulfill customer requirements

Provide regular updates to customers on order status and related matters

Order Management

Process orders with 100% accuracy within 1-2 days of receiving clear purchase orders

Monitor end-to-end supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction

Track dispatch dates for both commercial and sample orders

Proactively follow up with factory to ensure timely order dispatch

Communicate any delays or issues to sales manager/customers and implement corrective actions

Financial Management

Follow up with customers for payment collection to maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)

Submit daily updates to Sales Head (exports)

Monitor sales holds and dispatch status

Database Management

Maintain accurate SAP database records

Update Customer Master and Product Master data for error-free transactions

Provide sales quantity, values, and ASPs (Average Selling Prices) to Sales Managers for monthly MIS reports

Required Qualifications

Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities

Comprehensive understanding of the packaging films industry

In-depth knowledge of world-class manufacturing processes

Excellent relationship building skills

Strong execution and follow-through abilities

Previous experience in manufacturing sector preferred

Additional Skills

Proficiency in SAP

Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
