Customer Service Executive

Job Description

Role Overview – Joyalukkas Exchange is hiring a Customer Service Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for customer-focused professionals with strong communication skills, service excellence mindset, and experience handling customer inquiries, financial transactions, and service delivery within a money exchange, remittance, or banking environment.

Customer Service and Support – You will provide exceptional customer service and support by welcoming customers warmly, understanding their requirements, responding to inquiries about exchange rates, remittance services, and transaction processes, providing accurate information, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects Joyalukkas Exchange's commitment to service excellence.

Money Exchange Transactions – You will process money exchange transactions by buying and selling foreign currencies, verifying exchange rates, calculating transaction amounts accurately, processing currency conversions, issuing receipts, and ensuring all exchange transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Remittance Services and Money Transfers – You will facilitate remittance services and money transfers by processing international money transfers, coordinating with remittance partners (Western Union, MoneyGram, Ria, Xpress Money, or similar services), collecting sender and beneficiary information, verifying customer identity, completing transfer documentation, and ensuring timely, accurate remittance processing.

Customer Registration and KYC Compliance – You will manage customer registration and KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance by collecting customer identification documents (Emirates ID, passport, visa), verifying customer information, maintaining customer records, ensuring compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations, and adhering to Central Bank of UAE and regulatory requirements.

Transaction Processing and Documentation – You will process transactions and maintain documentation by entering transaction details into systems accurately, generating receipts and confirmations, maintaining transaction records, ensuring proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes, and managing cash handling procedures securely.

Cash Handling and Till Management – You will manage cash handling and till operations by counting and verifying cash, processing customer payments, balancing daily cash transactions, preparing cash reports, coordinating with vault or back office on cash requirements, and ensuring accuracy and security in all cash handling activities.

Product and Service Promotion – You will promote exchange products and services by informing customers about available services (currency exchange, remittances, travel cards, bill payments), explaining benefits and features, cross-selling appropriate services, and contributing to customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Complaint Handling and Service Recovery – You will handle customer complaints and implement service recovery by listening to customer concerns empathetically, investigating issues, resolving problems promptly, escalating complex matters to supervisors when necessary, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Queue Management and Customer Flow – You will manage queue and customer flow by serving customers efficiently, minimizing waiting times, maintaining organized service counters, coordinating with team members during peak hours, and ensuring smooth, professional customer service operations.
