Role Overview:

As a Corporate Associate, you will provide expert legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity buy-outs, and strategic investment transactions. You will work across various industry sectors including energy, projects & infrastructure (with a focus on renewables and clean-tech), technology, aerospace and defense, and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

Mergers & Acquisitions: Advise on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including structuring deals, due diligence, and negotiations.

Joint Ventures & Private Equity: Provide legal support for joint ventures, private equity transactions, and strategic investments.

Sector Expertise: Work on transactions across multiple sectors, including energy, infrastructure, technology, and more.

Client Interaction: Engage with a broad spectrum of clients, including sovereign wealth funds, banks, corporates, and multinational corporations.

Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction structuring and deal execution.

Documentation: Draft and review complex legal documents, agreements, and contracts related to corporate transactions.

Requirements:

Qualification: Common law qualified (UK, USA, CAN, AUS, RSA, NZ).

Experience: NQ - 6 PQE with prior experience working in a top-tier law firm.

Education: Excellent academic credentials from a leading university (LLB/LLM).

Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
