About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed healthcare team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the advancement of gastroenterology practices. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility. As a Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing healthcare services and improving patient outcomes in the region.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Diagnose conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other minimally invasive techniques.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Provide education to patients and families about gastrointestinal health and treatment options.

Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of gastroenterology.

Stay updated with advancements in the field and engage in continuous professional development.

Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.

Engage in community outreach programs to promote gastrointestinal health awareness.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Gastroenterology.

At least 3 years of experience as a practicing gastroenterologist, with a proven track record of clinical excellence.

Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution is preferred.

Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of gastrointestinal disorders and treatments.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.

Proficiency in medical technology and electronic health records.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

AED 65,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
