1k to 1k (KWD) - Per Month

Job Description

The Construction Manager at Amentum is responsible for overseeing and managing all construction activities to ensure full compliance with approved statements of work, government regulations, and construction documentation. This role is critical in safeguarding government interests while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

The position provides comprehensive construction oversight, ensuring all work strictly adheres to approved drawings, technical specifications, schedules, and safety requirements. The Construction Manager conducts routine site inspections, monitors daily progress, and verifies that construction activities meet all contractual, regulatory, and quality obligations.

This role also focuses on effective project coordination and reporting, tracking multiple construction projects against service contracts and established timelines. Working closely with the Engineering Flight Chief, the Construction Manager aligns priorities, conducts daily site visits, prepares progress reports, and coordinates site access with other contractors to prevent conflicts and delays.

A key responsibility of the role is the technical review and interpretation of construction documents. The Construction Manager reviews shop drawings, material submittals, and technical plans in a timely manner, interprets complex engineering documents, and provides expert recommendations on construction methods to support successful project execution.

The position requires strong documentation and record-management capabilities. The Construction Manager maintains accurate and organized project records by logging, referencing, distributing, and filing correspondence, drawings, and related documentation, ensuring transparency, traceability, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Site supervision and safety management are central to this role. The Construction Manager plans and oversees on-site activities such as scheduling, material coordination, and supervision of administrative staff when assigned. The role ensures full compliance with safety standards, environmental controls, hazardous material handling procedures, and underground utility protocols.

The Construction Manager operates in challenging and austere environments and must meet demanding physical requirements. The role involves working outdoors in extreme conditions, conducting extensive site inspections, climbing structures or equipment, and carrying required safety gear for extended periods while maintaining operational focus and safety awareness.
