Job Description:

China Railway International Group Co. Ltd (CRIG) is currently seeking a qualified Construction Manager to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in railway, train, or metro construction as the main contractor. This role requires strong leadership, team management skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic construction environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee all aspects of construction activities related to railway, train, or metro projects.

2. Manage and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.

3. Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and strategies to meet project goals and objectives.

4. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.

5. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and clients, to address project requirements and challenges.

6. Review and approve construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

7. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

8. Manage project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation effectively.

9. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

10. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in railway, train, or metro construction as the main contractor.

2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse construction team.

4. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic construction environment.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Familiarity with construction management software and tools.

7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.

8. Must be available in the UAE.

9. Fluency in English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
