Position:

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Manager to oversee a large building project in Bahrain. Based on site, you will lead a team of quantity surveyors and manage all commercial aspects of the project, including FIDIC contracts, variations, budgets, contractual correspondence, and EOTs. You will also serve as a key point of contact for the client and Consultant.

Responsibilities:

Lead and guide the commercial team in managing project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial reporting requirements.

Oversee contract administration and management, including claims management and dispute resolution.

Manage procurement and subcontractor agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Prepare and present reports on project financial status and forecasts to senior management.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project success and business growth.

Salary:

BHD 1,500 to 1,800 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in quantity surveying and commercial management within civil engineering and building works.

Proven track record with FIDIC contracts and managing commercial aspects of large-scale projects.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Previous experience working in Bahrain or the Middle East is essential.
