Position: Collections Officer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience Required: 2 - 8 years

Monthly Salary: AED 7,000 - 9,000 ($1,891 - $2,431)

Education Required: Any Graduation

Roles & Responsibilities:

Contacting customers to collect outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.

Investigating and resolving customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.

Preparing and sending collection letters and notices to customers.

Working with internal teams to address customer issues and facilitate timely payments.

Monitoring and tracking overdue accounts and initiating appropriate actions for recovery.

Reviewing and analyzing customer accounts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Providing regular reports on collection activities and progress to management.

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the collection process.

Maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service while dealing with customers in difficult situations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a similar role.

Knowledge of debt collection laws and practices.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult customers.

Fluency in written and spoken English, French, and Arabic.
