Job Overview: Emirates Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated and well-spoken Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our Dubai facility. The ideal candidate will manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism, ensuring that all visitors, patients, and vendors receive outstanding customer service from the moment they arrive. This role demands strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities: As a Receptionist at Emirates Hospital, you will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, managing appointments, and ensuring that the front desk operates smoothly. You will be expected to handle administrative duties such as checking in patients, collecting documents, updating records, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure a streamlined workflow across departments.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this role. You will be the first point of contact for all guests and patients, and your ability to listen empathetically, respond professionally, and provide clear information will directly influence patient satisfaction. Strong verbal and written communication, especially in English, is a must, and knowledge of Arabic will be considered an added advantage.
Organizational Responsibilities: The receptionist plays a critical role in the organization and maintenance of front desk operations. This includes maintaining accurate appointment logs, ensuring all forms and documentation are properly filed, and following up with patients for feedback or missing details. You must be able to stay organized even during peak hours and display initiative in resolving minor challenges without constant supervision.
Tech and System Use: The successful candidate should be familiar with hospital management systems, appointment scheduling software, and general office tools like MS Office Suite. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is highly preferred. A strong understanding of privacy protocols and data confidentiality in a medical setting is also essential to succeed in this role.
