Position Overview:

Asian Global Infotech is seeking a skilled Cloud Storage & Security Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud storage solutions and security, with expertise in managing and securing data in a cloud environment. This role requires a deep understanding of various cloud platforms, backup products, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Storage Management:

Implement and manage cloud storage solutions, including Cloudain and other leading platforms.

Ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval processes.

Monitor and optimize storage capacity and performance.

2. Security Implementation:

Develop and implement security protocols to protect data in cloud environments.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

3. Backup Solutions:

Manage and maintain cloud backup solutions such as Rubrik and Veeam.

Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery plans.

Ensure data integrity and availability through regular testing and monitoring.

4. Virtualization Expertise:

Utilize Virtual Stream and VMware to create and manage virtual environments.

Optimize virtualization strategies for efficiency and security.

5. Cloud Platform Proficiency:

Leverage certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP to manage cloud infrastructure.

Integrate and manage cloud services to support business operations.

6. Problem Solving and Innovation:

Apply strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues.

Foster a dynamic mindset to innovate and improve cloud storage and security solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in cloud storage and security roles.

Expertise in Virtual Stream and VMware.

Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Familiarity with cloud backup products like Rubrik and Veeam.

Knowledge of cloud storage solutions like Cloudain.
