About the Role:

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is seeking qualified Clinical Coders to join our healthcare administration team. This specialized position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring proper documentation for patient care and billing purposes.

Core Responsibilities:

The Clinical Coder will analyze complex medical records and assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes using standardized classification systems. Your work will directly support accurate patient data management, reimbursement processes, and healthcare statistics reporting.

Technical Requirements:

Applicants must possess certification in clinical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) with demonstrated experience in hospital coding environments. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and coding software is essential for this detail-oriented position.

Healthcare Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, disease processes, and treatment protocols. Your ability to interpret physician documentation and apply coding guidelines precisely will be critical to success in this role.

Quality Assurance:
