Overview:

Al-Futtaim is looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee civil maintenance and construction activities within our retail facilities in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in refurbishment, renovation, and waterproofing projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate civil maintenance and construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Oversee refurbishment, renovation, and waterproofing projects, ensuring quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Manage and lead a team of workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications.

Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and records of materials used.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Assist in the preparation of project estimates, budgets, and schedules.

Key Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in civil maintenance or construction.

Proven experience in refurbishment, renovation, and waterproofing projects.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate a team.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
