Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of civil construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.

Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Document and report any non-compliance issues or deficiencies.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve construction issues.

Perform on-site tests and inspections of materials and construction methods.

Verify measurements and quantities of materials used in construction.

Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.

Attend meetings and provide input on construction progress and issues.

Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to civil construction.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional certification in construction inspection or a similar field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction inspection at a consultant company.

Experience working on large-scale construction projects.

Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, including snagging & de-snagging processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document non-compliance issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project team members.

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Physical ability to perform on-site inspections and walk on uneven terrain.
