Job Description:

Elbait Consultants is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join the in-house supervision team for constructing a new industrial building as part of the expansion plan of a leading industrial group located in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be part of the project management in-house team, reporting to the director and will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a new factory, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day aspects of the industrial building project, including planning, project management, framework, daily progress of the construction, and compliance with the original design.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.

Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution of the project in compliance with the specifications, codes, and standards.

Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.

Supervise and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues or discrepancies and ensure quality control and safety measures are maintained.

Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including company management, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to provide updates and address any concerns or inquiries.

Prepare and present regular progress reports, budget analyses, and other project documentation to senior management and project partners.

Requirements:

Saudi national is required for this role.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

PMP certification is a plus.

Proven experience in managing and overseeing industrial building projects, with a strong emphasis on factory construction and industrial infrastructure.

Previous experience in Steel Structure is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.

7-10 years of working experience in a similar role is required.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.

Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
