Compass Project Consulting is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will take a leading role in a FIFA World Cup stadium project, focusing on the replacement and upgrade of existing seating. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project, ensuring the successful design and construction of new seating installations that meet the highest standards of structural integrity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Design & Management:

Lead the design and oversee the construction of new seating installations in the stadium, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Manage and coordinate with contractors to ensure the successful implementation of seating upgrades, maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Structural Integrity:

Ensure all seating installations are structurally sound and comply with relevant engineering standards and FIFA guidelines.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments to verify the structural integrity and safety of the seating installations.

Collaboration & Coordination:

Work closely with project teams, including architects, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless coordination and timely project delivery.

Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final construction.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

Experience:

8-15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stadium refurbishment projects. Experience with FIFA World Cup stadium projects is highly desirable.

Proven expertise in seating installations or similar upgrades, ideally within stadiums or large venues.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in civil engineering or construction management are required.

Skills & Competencies:

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project specifications.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
