Position: Civil Design Lead (Full-time)

Job Description:

Menasa & Partners is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Design Lead to join our client's dynamic team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in wet infrastructure projects, including wastewater, stormwater, potable water, recycled water systems, water and wastewater treatment systems, and flood management infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Manage and lead projects associated with wet infrastructure, ensuring all phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Oversee the coordination and implementation of project designs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Technical Expertise:

Conduct field visits, investigations, and data collection to support design and planning activities.

Provide planning, hydraulic modeling support, and master planning for various wet infrastructure projects.

Develop comprehensive designs and write detailed reports, ensuring all technical aspects are clearly communicated and documented.

Documentation and Specifications:

Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support procurement and construction activities.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 18 years' experience in civil design, with a strong focus on water, wastewater, drainage, and stormwater projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Bentley software (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS) and Wanda software for design and modeling in water systems.

Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee complex projects from inception to completion.

Additional Skills:

Ability to undertake field visits and investigations, providing hands-on expertise and insights.

Excellent report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical reports and specifications.
