Job Overview: As a Chief Timekeeper at VICC, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee attendance and workforce records across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring that payroll, compliance, and workforce planning are based on reliable and precise data. Your work will directly impact organizational efficiency, labor cost management, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: The Chief Timekeeper will oversee daily time tracking, attendance validation, and shift scheduling for a large and diverse workforce. You will monitor attendance systems, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports that are essential for payroll processing and management decision-making. The role requires a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage high volumes of workforce data efficiently.
System & Records Management: You will be responsible for managing both manual and digital attendance systems, ensuring integration with HR and payroll software. This includes maintaining biometric systems, resolving system errors, and implementing upgrades where necessary. Your expertise will ensure the company’s workforce records are always accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.
Leadership Role: As the head of the timekeeping function, you will lead a small team of timekeepers and clerks, providing training, guidance, and quality control. You will set work standards, monitor performance, and ensure deadlines for reporting are met. This leadership component requires strong organizational and communication skills to keep your team aligned with company objectives.
Compliance & Reporting: A key part of the role involves ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies. You will prepare reports on overtime, absences, and workforce utilization, providing management with insights to make strategic staffing decisions. Your ability to ensure compliance protects the company from risks and helps maintain transparency with employees.
