Overview:

Linum Consult's client, a prominent company based in Qatar, is seeking a Chief Investment Officer to join their team in Doha. The role involves overseeing investment strategies, managing the investment team, and ensuring effective asset allocation and risk management across portfolios.

Responsibilities:

Develop and communicate investment and growth strategies aligned with the company's objectives.

Contribute to the overall business strategy and provide strategic insights on investment opportunities.

Manage and develop the investment team, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals.

Supervise the investment process, including asset allocation, selection of external managers, and risk management.

Establish and enforce processes to ensure compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.

Make critical decisions on asset acquisitions, divestments, and portfolio management to optimize returns.

Salary:

QAR 75,000 to 80,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters or Post-Graduate qualification is preferred.

Minimum of 15 years' experience in the private equity sector or with consulting companies in real estate.

Proven track record in acquisitions, asset divestments, and strategic transactions.

Strong knowledge of growth strategies and experience in managing diverse portfolios.

Fluent in English with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience working in the Middle East and exposure to multicultural environments.
