Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Chef De Partie specializing in Yemeni Mandi cuisine, you will be an integral part of the culinary team at BARAAK. Your role will involve preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Yemeni Mandi dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency. Working under the guidance of the Head Chef, you will contribute to menu development, maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards, and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Preparation and cooking of Yemeni Mandi dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Ensuring the freshness, quality, and taste of all food items prepared.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food storage areas.

Assisting in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize wastage.

Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Collaborating with the Head Chef and other team members to develop new menu items and specials.

Training and supervising junior kitchen staff as required.

Assisting in the ordering and receiving of food and kitchen supplies.

Following proper cooking techniques and presentation standards to meet customer expectations.

Providing input and suggestions for continuous improvement in kitchen operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Yemeni Mandi cuisine preparation, preferably in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of Yemeni Mandi cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Passion for food and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
