Job Description
Role Overview – Sahat Almajd is hiring a Catering Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for experienced F&B supervisors with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, and the ability to lead catering teams, coordinate events, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Immediate joiners with catering experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Catering Operations Supervision – You will oversee all catering operations by supervising setup, service execution, breakdown, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and ensuring all catering events are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with client expectations and company standards.
Team Leadership and Staff Management – You will lead and manage the catering team by assigning roles and responsibilities, providing on-site direction, conducting briefings, monitoring performance, and ensuring all team members deliver high-quality service and maintain professional standards throughout events.
Event Coordination and Execution – You will coordinate catering events from planning through to completion by liaising with clients and event organizers, understanding event requirements, managing timelines, ensuring proper setup and presentation, and overseeing smooth execution of all catering activities.
Food & Beverage Operations Management – You will ensure excellence in Food & Beverage operations by monitoring food quality, presentation, and portion control, overseeing beverage service, managing buffet or plated service setups, and maintaining adherence to recipes, standards, and hygiene protocols.
Client and Guest Service – You will maintain a strong focus on client and guest satisfaction by engaging with clients during events, addressing requests and concerns professionally, ensuring service quality meets or exceeds expectations, and representing Sahat Almajd with professionalism and hospitality.
Inventory and Resource Management – You will manage catering inventory and resources by coordinating equipment, supplies, and materials for events, monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper handling and storage, and minimizing waste while maintaining operational readiness.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene Compliance – You will ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations by implementing proper food handling procedures, conducting hygiene checks, maintaining cleanliness across all catering areas, and ensuring adherence to local authority and company safety standards.
Pre-Event Planning and Coordination – You will participate in pre-event planning by attending briefings, reviewing event orders, coordinating with kitchen and logistics teams, preparing service plans, and ensuring all operational details are confirmed and communicated to the catering team.
