Job Overview: We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier to join our Finance and Front Office team at Saudi German Hospital – Ajman. As a crucial member of our billing department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and front desk operations. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the UAE’s leading healthcare institutions known for excellence in patient care.

Daily Financial Operations: Your main responsibility will include handling a variety of payment transactions such as cash, credit card, and insurance payments at our front desk and billing counters. This role demands a high degree of accuracy and professionalism to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all financial interactions with patients and visitors.

Billing Accuracy and Compliance: You will ensure that all billing is done correctly for both outpatient and inpatient services. Part of your role will be to maintain compliance with internal financial protocols and local healthcare billing standards, particularly adhering to the regulations set forth by the DHA and MOH authorities in the UAE.

Reconciliation and Reporting: The position also involves managing daily cash reports and reconciling the day’s collections against billing transactions. Timely and accurate submission of financial reports to the finance department is essential for ongoing operational efficiency and audit readiness.

Interdepartmental Coordination: You will work closely with both the finance and insurance departments to obtain necessary approvals and ensure the integrity of billing data. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external insurance providers will directly impact billing turnaround times and patient satisfaction.

Customer Interaction & Service: As a front-line staff member, you will interact directly with patients and their families. Providing excellent customer service while maintaining strict professionalism and confidentiality is critical. Your demeanor and efficiency will influence the overall patient experience at the hospital.
