Rental Agent
Role Overview – Diamondlease is hiring a Rental Agent in Abu Dhabi for professionals passionate about sales, customer service, and the automotive rental industry. This position requires minimum 2 years of sales experience in the car rental industry, strong English communication skills, and a graduate degree, ideal for presentable, customer-focused professionals proficient in MS Office.
Car Rental Sales – You will drive car rental sales by engaging with customers, understanding their rental needs, recommending appropriate vehicles, explaining rental terms and pricing, upselling additional services or insurance, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings that generate rental revenue.
Customer Service Excellence – You will provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, assisting with rental processes, explaining vehicle features and rental agreements, addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring positive rental experiences that build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Rental Agreement Processing – You will process rental agreements by preparing contracts, verifying customer documentation, explaining terms and conditions, collecting payments and deposits, ensuring proper insurance coverage, and completing all rental paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Vehicle Fleet Knowledge – You will maintain comprehensive knowledge of the vehicle fleet including different car models, features, specifications, rental rates, availability, and be able to recommend vehicles that match customer needs and preferences effectively.
Reservation Management – You will manage reservations by taking bookings, coordinating vehicle availability, scheduling pickups and returns, maintaining reservation systems, confirming bookings with customers, and ensuring smooth coordination between reservations and vehicle availability.
Customer Relationship Building – You will build customer relationships by providing personalized service, understanding repeat customer preferences, maintaining contact for future rentals, encouraging customer loyalty, and generating referrals through exceptional service.
Payment and Billing – You will handle payment processing, billing, invoicing, deposit management, and financial transactions related to car rentals. Accurate financial handling ensures proper revenue collection and customer account management.
Problem Resolution – You will resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns professionally and efficiently. Effective problem-solving maintains customer satisfaction even when challenges arise and protects the company's reputation.
Car Rental Industry Experience – Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the car rental industry is required. Your car rental background demonstrates understanding of rental processes, fleet management, customer expectations, and sales techniques specific to automotive rental.
Educational Background – A graduate degree is required. Your educational foundation provides professional credibility and the analytical capabilities valued in customer-facing sales roles.
English Communication Skills – Strong English communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse customers, explaining rental terms clearly, handling inquiries professionally, and representing Diamondlease effectively in Abu Dhabi's international market.
Presentation and Appearance – Being presentable is important in this customer-facing role. Professional appearance, grooming, and demeanor create positive first impressions and reflect well on the brand.
