Job Overview: China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC), a leading construction and petroleum services company, is currently looking for a Buyer / Purchaser to join its procurement team in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a solid background in purchasing, vendor coordination, and construction-related materials.

Core Responsibilities: The primary duty of the Buyer/Purchaser is to source, evaluate, and procure materials, tools, and equipment required for construction projects. You will work closely with the procurement team, project engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

Vendor & Supplier Management: You will be responsible for identifying and developing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring suppliers meet company standards for quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

Material Expertise: A strong understanding of construction materials and equipment is required. This includes piping, electrical items, safety tools, civil materials, heavy equipment, and machinery relevant to petroleum or infrastructure projects.

Order & Delivery Coordination: You will create purchase orders, track shipments, handle any delivery discrepancies, and ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and compliant with internal protocols and local regulations.

Cost Control & Reporting: The role involves close coordination with finance and project teams to monitor budgets, track procurement expenses, and prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics.
