Role Overview – REACH Group is hiring a Buyer – Procurement / Supply Chain for a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This role is suited to a procurement professional with strong purchasing, supplier coordination, negotiation, cost analysis, documentation, and supply chain management skills. The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, monitor orders, and support the timely availability of materials and products.

Procurement & Purchasing – You will manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure procurement requirements are handled efficiently. You should follow established purchasing procedures and maintain accurate records.

Supplier Management – You will identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers to obtain suitable products and services. You should maintain professional supplier relationships and follow up on supplier performance.

Quotation & Cost Evaluation – You will review supplier quotations, compare prices and terms, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions. You should consider quality, pricing, delivery, and overall value.

Negotiation – You will negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other purchasing conditions with suppliers when required. You should work toward commercially beneficial agreements.

Purchase Orders – You will prepare and process purchase orders based on approved requirements. You should monitor order status and ensure purchasing documentation is complete and accurate.

Order Monitoring – You will track orders from placement through delivery and follow up with suppliers regarding pending or delayed orders. You should communicate changes or delays to relevant teams.

Material Coordination – You will coordinate material requirements with internal departments and suppliers to support uninterrupted operations. You should identify potential shortages or supply issues in advance.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination – You will support inventory planning and coordinate with relevant teams regarding stock requirements, availability, and replenishment. You should help maintain an efficient supply flow.

Documentation & Reporting – You will maintain purchase records, supplier information, quotations, purchase orders, delivery documentation, and procurement reports. You should ensure all records are organized and up to date.

Internal Coordination – You will coordinate with finance, operations, warehouse, logistics, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements. You should ensure procurement-related information is communicated clearly.

Problem Resolution – You will assist in resolving supplier issues, delivery delays, material shortages, quality concerns, and other procurement-related challenges. You should take timely follow-up action.

Performance Monitoring – You will monitor supplier performance, purchasing costs, delivery timelines, and procurement activities. You should provide accurate updates to management when required.
