About the Role:

We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients, a leading bank in the UAE, who is seeking a Business Risk Specialist to join their highly motivated team in Dubai. This is a critical role for a professional with expertise in risk management, particularly in assessing and mitigating risks related to credit card sales, onboarding, and portfolio quality. Key Responsibilities:

As the Business Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s credit card sales onboarding processes align with internal guidelines and regulatory standards. Your primary duties will include conducting quality assurance (QA) checks on new customer onboarding and cross-selling activities, including those facilitated by third-party vendors. You will also validate that all onboarding processes adhere to the bank’s Code of Conduct and ethical sales practices. Additionally, you will regularly review and update QA checklists to reflect current regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management. Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) will be an advantage. A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in the UAE, is required.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are key attributes we are looking for.
