Job Overview:

Asian Tigers Shipping is seeking an experienced Business Development Professional specializing in Air Freight to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new client relationships, and expanding our air freight market presence in the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase air freight market share

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air freight logistics sector

Conduct market research to understand industry trends and potential client needs

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals

Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure comprehensive client solutions

Manage and track sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand business connections

Qualifications:

Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in air freight business development

Strong background in logistics, shipping, or related international trade industries

Excellent understanding of air freight operations and market dynamics

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus

Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
