Job Description
LastPass is looking for a driven and resilient Business Development Representative to join its globally distributed BDR team, supporting the APAC region from Sydney, Australia. As a leader in password and identity management solutions helping 100,000 businesses and millions of consumers secure their credentials at work and at home, LastPass operates at the intersection of cybersecurity and everyday productivity, and this is an exciting time to join as the team transitions to an outbound-first model and builds a best-in-class pipeline engine. This is a high-energy, growth-focused role for someone genuinely curious about technology sales and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the ground up.
In this role, you will drive outbound pipeline growth across the APAC region, engaging prospects and customers across multiple industries and geographies through high-volume outbound calling and email outreach. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives across APAC and fellow BDRs based in the Philippines to design and execute targeted, account-based outreach strategies that generate qualified pipeline for the Go-to-Market organisation. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the BDR playbook and outbound motion, communicate LastPass's evolving product capabilities to prospects in a compelling and relevant way, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where agility and continuous learning are valued.
The ideal candidate is a clear and persuasive communicator in written and spoken English, demonstrates drive and resilience in a goal-oriented environment, and absorbs coaching and applies feedback quickly. You are a recognised team player who contributes to a collaborative and supportive culture, bring genuine curiosity and interest in building a career in technology sales, and are comfortable with high-volume outbound calling as part of a structured daily routine. You must be based in Sydney, Australia. Previous experience in a sales, customer-facing, or business development role, proficiency in additional APAC-relevant languages, and a background in technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity are all meaningful advantages.
LastPass offers a remote-first culture, competitive compensation, flexible paid time off including four quarterly self-care days annually and volunteer days, parental leave, comprehensive health coverage including dependents, home office setup support, a LastPass Families free account for up to five members, an annual learning stipend, peer-to-peer recognition through Motivosity, an Employee Assistance Programme, a remote work stipend, and short-term or remote-centric work arrangements for added flexibility.
