Business Development Representative – Remote

In this role, you will manage both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting to build and maintain a healthy pipeline that meets or exceeds quota targets. On the inbound side, you will engage with inquiries promptly to maximise conversion potential, qualify marketing leads by understanding their challenges, priorities, and readiness, and follow up on marketing-driven interactions such as content downloads, webinars, and event registrations to nurture prospects until they are ready to meet with an Account Executive. On the outbound side, you will research target accounts within the Ideal Customer Profile to identify supply chain challenges, discover and engage decision-makers using Salesforce and sales engagement tools, and execute personalised outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce solutions including WMS, OMS, TMS, and automation technologies with the goal of scheduling qualified meetings. You will also drive pre-event and post-event outreach to invite prospects and convert interest into pipeline opportunities, while maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring data hygiene across all accounts and interactions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or brings equivalent professional experience. Prior BDR or inside sales experience is preferred, and any exposure to supply chain, logistics, or software solutions will be viewed as a strong advantage. You communicate with exceptional clarity in both written and verbal form, craft personalised outreach that resonates, and can articulate solution value to a range of decision-makers. Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator will set you up for success from day one.
