Role Overview

GCB Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the creative industry, particularly in interior design, to join a boutique high-end interior design firm that specializes in hospitality projects across the Middle East. This role offers the flexibility of working from home, with regular travel to the office, making it suitable for candidates based anywhere in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior design industry through market research, lead generation, and networking activities.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and industry stakeholders, understanding their needs and promoting the company's services.

Strategy and Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to create and implement effective strategies for business growth and client acquisition.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts, proposals, and agreements with clients, ensuring all terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.

Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities, adjusting business development strategies as needed.

Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and client feedback to senior management.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is essential.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record of success in business development within the creative industry.

Client-Facing Skills: Proficient in client-facing interactions, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Database Management: Experience in managing client databases.

Negotiation and Presentation: Strong negotiation and presentation abilities, focusing on delivering compelling proposals and closing deals.

Self-Motivation: Ambitious, target-driven, and self-motivated with a commitment to achieving and exceeding business development objectives.

Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in sales or business development are a plus.
