Business Development Executive - IT Solutions

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive our IT Solutions sales division. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent sales abilities to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver complex IT solutions to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets in the IT solutions sector

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking

Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations

Create and present comprehensive IT solution proposals to potential clients

Conduct detailed needs assessments and recommend appropriate technical solutions

Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions for clients

Manage the entire sales cycle from prospect identification through contract closure

Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development strategies

Negotiate complex contracts and service level agreements

Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements

Required Qualifications

4-5 years of proven experience in IT solutions sales

Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and services

Experience in solution selling and complex deal negotiations

Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at C-level

Technical Knowledge

Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and enterprise software

Knowledge of current technology trends and market dynamics

Familiarity with major IT service providers and their offerings

Understanding of IT project lifecycle and implementation methodologies

Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
