Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join a leading organization in the Banking and Finance sector in Abu Dhabi. This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about business growth, client engagement, and the financial services landscape. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the organization’s Supply Chain Finance portfolio and strengthening strategic partnerships.

Key Role Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting financial products and solutions. You will lead efforts to generate leads, build pipelines, and close deals that contribute to long-term business growth. Your role will also involve conducting market research, attending industry events, and crafting tailored financial proposals to meet diverse client needs.

Client Relationship Management

Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships is central to this role. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both prospective and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction through consistent communication and professional service. The role demands an ability to understand client requirements and deliver solutions that align with their business goals and financial strategy.

Product and Solution Development

You will work closely with product teams to help shape and refine supply chain finance offerings. By gathering feedback from the market and clients, you will contribute valuable insights to support the development of competitive, innovative, and client-centric financial solutions. Understanding industry trends and integrating them into solution design will be key to success in this role.

Cross-functional Collaboration

This position requires close collaboration with internal departments including credit, operations, risk, and product development teams. Your ability to function as a team player while driving independent initiatives is crucial. Working together, you will ensure the seamless delivery of services and optimal client experience from onboarding through post-sale support.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years’ experience in supply chain finance, trade finance, or related financial services is required. A proven track record in business development and sales within the financial services sector is essential, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Essential Skills and Tools

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, a deep understanding of supply chain finance products and market trends, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is expected. Additionally, a valid UAE driving license is mandatory, as client visits and market engagements form a significant part of the role.
