Role Overview – Finesse Direct is hiring a Business Analyst for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for analytical, detail-oriented professionals with strong business analysis skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting successful delivery of business initiatives and system implementations.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis – You will gather and analyze business requirements by conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, documenting business needs, analyzing current processes, identifying pain points and improvement opportunities, and translating business requirements into functional specifications that guide solution development.

Stakeholder Management and Communication – You will manage stakeholder relationships and communication by engaging with business users, department heads, IT teams, and senior management, facilitating discussions, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout project lifecycles.

Business Process Analysis and Improvement – You will analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities by documenting current-state processes, conducting gap analysis, designing future-state processes, recommending optimizations, and supporting implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve business outcomes.

Documentation and Specification Development – You will create comprehensive documentation and specifications by preparing business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), use cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications that clearly communicate business needs to development and implementation teams.

Data Analysis and Reporting – You will conduct data analysis and reporting by collecting and analyzing business data, creating reports and dashboards, identifying trends and insights, performing root cause analysis, and providing data-driven recommendations that support informed business decision-making.

System Design and Solution Evaluation – You will support system design and solution evaluation by collaborating with technical teams on system requirements, evaluating software solutions and vendors, assessing system capabilities against business needs, and ensuring proposed solutions effectively address business requirements and objectives.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support – You will support user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios and test cases, coordinating UAT activities with business users, tracking defects and issues, validating system functionality against requirements, and ensuring solutions meet business expectations before deployment.

Change Management and Training Support – You will support change management and training initiatives by preparing training materials, conducting user training sessions, documenting system changes, communicating impacts to stakeholders, and facilitating smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and business changes.

Project Coordination and Support – You will provide project coordination and support by participating in project planning, tracking deliverables and milestones, coordinating cross-functional activities, managing risks and issues, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Agile and Waterfall Methodologies – You will work within Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies by participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives (Agile), or following structured phase-gate processes (Waterfall), adapting your approach to project needs and organizational standards.

Gap Analysis and Feasibility Studies – You will conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies by comparing current capabilities with desired outcomes, assessing technical and business feasibility of proposed solutions, identifying constraints and dependencies, and providing recommendations on implementation approaches.

Vendor and Technical Team Liaison – You will liaise with vendors and technical teams by communicating business requirements, clarifying specifications, reviewing technical designs, providing feedback on proposed solutions, and ensuring technical deliverables align with business needs and expectations.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices – You will promote continuous improvement and best practices by staying current with business analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile BA), leveraging analytical tools and techniques, sharing knowledge with team members, and contributing to the enhancement of business analysis processes and standards.

Business Analyst Experience – Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar business analysis role is required. Your background should demonstrate hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
