Overview:

Seekers HR is looking for a dedicated Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JAFZA and 3PL warehouses and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining high standards of staff performance and warehouse management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.

Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and ensure proper documentation.

Security and Safety:

Implement and oversee security operations to safeguard warehouse assets.

Ensure the safety of staff by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits.

Motivate and discipline staff to maintain high performance standards.

Inventory Management:

Maintain proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

Ensure the availability and condition of fleet vehicles.

Assist with deliveries when required.

Leadership:

Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.

Conduct staff training and development to enhance skills and performance.

Maintain excellent communication with staff and management.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in warehouse management, specifically in JAFZA and 3PL environments.

Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and inventory controls.

Ability to operate a forklift effectively.

Proficient in computer skills and warehouse management software.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate and discipline staff.

Available to work extended hours when necessary.
