Role Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island is hiring an Assistant Vice President in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This position is ideal for senior hospitality executives with proven leadership experience in luxury hotels or integrated resorts, strategic thinking abilities, strong operational management expertise, and the ability to oversee multiple departments, drive business performance, and uphold the world-class standards of the Wynn brand.
Strategic Leadership and Management
Provide strategic leadership and management by supporting the Vice President in setting departmental goals, developing business strategies, implementing operational initiatives, driving performance excellence, and ensuring alignment with Wynn Al Marjan Island's vision and standards.
Multi-Departmental Oversight
Oversee multiple departments or functional areas by managing operations, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring service standards, coordinating cross-functional activities, and driving operational excellence across assigned areas of responsibility.
Operational Excellence and Standards
Ensure operational excellence by maintaining Wynn's luxury service standards, implementing best practices, optimizing processes, monitoring quality control, addressing operational challenges, and delivering exceptional guest experiences consistently.
Financial Performance Management
Manage financial performance by overseeing budgets, controlling costs, analyzing financial reports, identifying revenue opportunities, implementing profitability initiatives, and achieving financial targets for assigned departments or operations.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and develop management teams by recruiting senior talent, mentoring department heads, conducting performance evaluations, fostering leadership development, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture of excellence and accountability.
Guest Experience and Service Quality
Oversee guest experience and service quality by ensuring exceptional service delivery, monitoring guest satisfaction, handling VIP guests and escalations, implementing service improvements, and maintaining the luxury standards expected of the Wynn brand.
Business Development and Growth
Support business development and growth by identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, implementing revenue-generating initiatives, expanding market presence, and driving strategies that enhance Wynn Al Marjan Island's competitive position.
Stakeholder Management and Relations
Manage stakeholder relationships by liaising with ownership, coordinating with corporate leadership, engaging with government entities, maintaining vendor partnerships, and representing Wynn Al Marjan Island professionally in high-level interactions.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Participate in strategic planning and execution by contributing to business plans, developing operational strategies, setting performance objectives, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance and risk management by maintaining adherence to regulations, implementing policies and procedures, managing operational risks, ensuring health and safety standards, and protecting Wynn Al Marjan Island's reputation and interests.
Project Leadership and Implementation
Lead major projects and implementations including new openings, renovations, system implementations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that require executive oversight and cross-functional coordination.
Performance Analytics and Reporting
Oversee performance analytics and reporting by monitoring KPIs, analyzing operational data, preparing executive reports, identifying trends and opportunities, and providing insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Senior Hospitality Leadership Experience
Proven experience as an Assistant Vice President, Director, or senior leadership role in luxury hotels, integrated resorts, or high-end hospitality operations. Your background should demonstrate successful multi-departmental management and strategic leadership.
Luxury Brand Experience
Experience with luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality brands with understanding of high-end service standards, guest expectations, operational excellence, and the attention to detail required in premium hospitality environments like Wynn.
Strategic and Operational Expertise
Strong strategic and operational expertise including business planning, financial management, process optimization, quality assurance, and ability to drive both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational excellence.
Financial Acumen
Strong financial acumen including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, cost control, and ability to make financially sound decisions that maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
Leadership and People Development
Exceptional leadership and people development skills to inspire senior teams, build organizational capability, drive accountability, foster collaboration, and create a culture of excellence aligned with Wynn values.
Multi-Departmental Management
Multi-departmental management experience with ability to oversee diverse functions, understand different operational areas, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive integrated performance across the organization.
