Job Description
Role Overview – Derby Marketing is hiring Assistant Team Leaders for banking sales in Abu Dhabi with salary up to AED 6,000. This position is open to candidates with minimum 2 year sales experience in banking or insurance, as well as freshers with strong sales mindset and leadership potential.
Team Support and Leadership – You will support the Team Leader by assisting with team management, providing guidance to Relationship Officers, monitoring team performance, motivating team members, and helping achieve collective sales targets.
Sales Performance Oversight – You will oversee sales performance by tracking individual and team metrics, identifying performance gaps, providing coaching, implementing improvement strategies, and ensuring the team consistently meets sales objectives.
Client Relationship Management – You will manage your own client portfolio while also supporting team members with complex client situations, escalations, and relationship building that requires senior guidance.
Sales Execution – You will continue selling banking products while also taking on supervisory responsibilities, demonstrating sales excellence that sets standards for team members to follow.
Recruitment and Training Support – You will assist with recruiting new team members, conducting initial training, onboarding new Relationship Officers, and ensuring new hires are equipped to succeed in banking sales.
Reporting and Communication – You will prepare reports on team performance, communicate with management regarding team activities, market feedback, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Banking Sales Experience – Minimum 1 year of sales experience in banking or insurance is required for experienced candidates. Your background provides foundation for understanding products, sales processes, and the ability to guide others.
Leadership Potential – Leadership potential or supervisory experience is valuable for this Assistant Team Leader role. You should demonstrate ability to motivate others, provide guidance, and take responsibility for team outcomes.
