Position Overview
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction across our dining venues. This role combines operational expertise with team leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, service flow, and quality control
Train, mentor, and develop service staff to maintain Seven Seas Hotel's high standards of hospitality
Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and service protocols
Assist in inventory management, cost control, and budget adherence
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, implementing immediate solutions when necessary
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain food quality standards
Participate in menu planning, promotional activities, and special events
Generate and analyze performance reports to identify areas for improvement
Step in for the Restaurant Manager during their absence
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of restaurant supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations, service standards, and industry trends
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
