Job Description
Role Overview – National General Insurance is hiring an Assistant Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for experienced insurance professionals with strong operational management skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to support departmental management, oversee team operations, drive performance excellence, and ensure high-quality service delivery within the insurance industry.
Operational Management and Oversight – You will manage operational activities by overseeing daily department operations, coordinating workflows, monitoring process efficiency, ensuring service quality standards, addressing operational challenges, and supporting the department manager in achieving operational excellence and business objectives.
Team Leadership and Supervision – You will lead and supervise the team by managing staff performance, providing direction and guidance, delegating tasks effectively, monitoring team productivity, conducting regular team meetings, fostering collaboration, and ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with departmental goals.
Performance Management and Development – You will manage performance and development by setting performance targets, conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, identifying training needs, coaching team members on skills development, and supporting career progression within the team.
Policy Processing and Underwriting Support – You will support policy processing and underwriting activities by reviewing policy applications, ensuring accuracy of documentation, coordinating with underwriters, managing policy issuance workflows, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and maintaining efficient policy administration processes.
Claims Management and Coordination – You will coordinate claims management activities by overseeing claims processing workflows, ensuring timely claims assessment and settlement, monitoring claims status, liaising with claims adjusters and assessors, supporting fraud detection, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the claims process.
Customer Service Excellence – You will drive customer service excellence by ensuring high-quality client interactions, resolving customer complaints and escalations, implementing service improvements, monitoring customer satisfaction, and ensuring all team interactions reflect National General Insurance's commitment to professional, responsive service.
