Job Description:

Michael Page is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager to play a key role in the Learning & Development (L&D) function. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development Strategy: Develop and implement a robust L&D strategy that drives employee performance and growth.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing L&D team, providing guidance and support in designing and delivering impactful learning programs.

Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.

Learning Management System: Manage the learning management system to ensure efficient and effective learning experiences.

Budget Management: Oversee the L&D budget, optimizing resource allocation and vendor partnerships.

Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance learning programs.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisation Development, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in L&D, including team management.

Skills:

Proven track record of designing and delivering successful learning programs.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning theories, and learning management systems.

Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

A passion for driving employee development and organisational success.
