Position Overview

The Assistant Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making for our development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for development projects

Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts for ongoing and upcoming developments

Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for construction projects

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations

Supervise junior finance team members and provide mentorship

Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key stakeholders

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures

Support senior management in financial planning and analysis

Manage project-specific financial reporting and cost analysis

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management, with specific experience in UAE real estate development

Proven track record of financial management in construction or real estate development projects

Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and reporting requirements

Excellent knowledge of financial software and MS Office Suite

Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
