We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Chef to join our team in Oman. The successful candidate will support our head chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes (Lebanese Cuisine), ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:
Assist the head chef in preparing and cooking menu items according to standard recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, hygienic, and organized.
Contribute to menu planning and development of new dishes.
Help in monitoring and managing kitchen inventory and supplies.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a sous chef, line cook, or junior chef.
Passion for food and cooking with a creative flair.
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and presentation.
Relevant culinary qualification or certification is a plus.
Salary:
OMR 650 to 750 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
